The Terry-Gillette Mansion in Hudson NY has been sold for $3 million. The property is to become a 32 Room Boutique Hotel and will join the portfolio of properties managed by Casetta Group, a chain of boutique hotels all of which are renovated historic properties. The Casetta Group portfolio includes Casa Cody in Palm Springs and The Pearl in San Diego which are currently open. Also opening in 2022 is Hotel Willa in Taos, New Mexico, and Marina Rivera in Big Bear Lake, California. This Hudson property will be Casetta’s first hotel on the East Coast.

Originally built as a private residence. The property was purchased in the 1930s by the local Elk’s Lodge which used it as their meeting hall until the early 2000s when they sold the property. Since then, the property has functioned as an antique retail and auction house & an event space.
The residence side of the building boasts multiple parlors and sitting rooms on the 1st Floor with a grand winding staircase to the second floor where you will find seven bedrooms, and an office with an incredible sunroom adjacent. There is also a small mostly separate one-bedroom apartment with a kitchen and bath.
The later Elk’s Lodge addition in the rear houses a large ballroom/meeting hall and a full commercial kitchen at the rear. The lower level also has a large meeting or events space with a bar.

This property is on one of the largest available parcels in Hudson at 4.1 acres.
